CSMVigo’s Commitment to Gender Equality

Feminist Commission
To advance this goal, the CSMVigo Feminist Commission is being established, with the purpose of:
-
Promoting balanced participation of women and men in teaching, artistic, and institutional activities.
-
Supporting training and cultural initiatives that incorporate a gender perspective.
-
Highlighting the contributions of women composers, performers, conductors, and creators throughout history and today.
-
Fostering safe spaces free from discrimination or gender-based violence.
The new Feminist Commission will serve as a driving force for integrating a gender perspective into the life of the conservatory and for promoting a more equal, diverse, and respectful institutional culture.
